How do I register my company with Gulf’s Supplier Diversity Program?
Certified small or diverse businesses can sign up by visiting our Apply to Become a Supplier page. Whether or not your company is currently doing business with Gulf, you should sign up so we can contact you about future opportunities.

What happens after I Sign Up on the website?
After you’ve completed your sign up and profile, your information will be kept in our supplier diversity database. It is your responsibility to keep this information current.

As part of our review process, you may be asked to provide copies of any/all certificates regarding your diversity status.

When a sourcing opportunity for your industry-specific business arises, Gulf employees will access this system to search for suppliers. At that point, you may be contacted to submit additional information.

I have begun the sign up process by entering my email address, but I did not receive any confirmation.
An email is sent to the email address you provided. If you do not see it in your inbox then check your junk or spam folder as some email providers may move it there. If you don't see our email after 24 hours, please try it again ensuring you are using a valid email address. When all else fails, please contact our Supplier Diversity Manager via email at SupplierDiversityManager@gie.com for help.

Does certification ensure that I will be able to do business with Gulf?
No. However, if an opportunity presents itself, Gulf will contact you to begin the request for proposal process. At that time, you will be asked to demonstrate your company’s value proposition for the product or service you are offering.

I am a current supplier for Gulf, and I received a letter asking me to fill out the Diverse Supplier Profile form.
What happens after I fill out the form?
If you are currently doing business with Gulf, we need to know the status of your business to determine if you qualify for participation in the Supplier Diversity Program. Even if you do not meet any of the qualifications for small or diverse business categories, please continue to fill out the Diverse Supplier Profile form.

What commodities and services do you purchase?
Gulf has a broad array of purchasing needs with requirements that vary by location and operation. When you complete your profile, make sure you indicate all of the products and services you provide in order for us to quickly search for you in our database.

How can I contact someone if I have further questions?
